LANCO Group will be the new owner for ROFI AS

ROFI will get a new owner from 1st January 2017. For the last four years Martin Olsen AS has had 100% of the shares in ROFI. Berner Martin Olsen has been CEO for ROFI since they started in 1985. 1st January will be the start of a new era within ROFI, which will get the German company LANCO as their new owner. With the new leadership, ROFI will be a part of the LANCO Group GmbH.
ROFI will keep developing, producing and market solutions with the same focus on quality and function, adapted to market demands.
ROFI will continue their business in Årødalen and deliver their systems to customers both national and international.

The deal between Martin Olsen AS and LANCO has been signed and will be put in force from the 1st January 2017. Berner Martin Olsen will step down as CEO on the 31st December 2016, and will work towards ROFI as a strategic advisor for at least 6 months. The new CEO for ROFI will be Nicolas Abé, who today is leading the LANCO Group GmbH.
ROFI and LANCO have worked closely together since 2013, whem LANCO has started to produce part of ROFI’s product lineup.
With the new leadership, placing ROFI within the LANCO Group, the group will be a significant player in a market that had numerous mergers between competitive companies for the past years.
ROFI AS is a manufacturer who is specialized in tailor made solutions for their customers, and currently consist of 18 employees, and will end up with a turnover for 2016 of over 50 million NOK, which will provide an increase of 15% compared to 2015. The majority of the products from ROFI are exported and they deliver products and solutions to over 60 countries on all continents.
LANCO Group has 110 employees and since its inception in 1953 LANCO sold goods to over 35 countries worldwide. The headquarters are in Hanover, Germany, and the company has also production sites and offices in Sibiu, Romania and Rome, Italy.
