The handover ceremony of a mine cleared area in Bamyan, Afghanistan. The demining was carried out by female deminers with protective equipment delivered by ROFI. Afghan women received training in land mine removal and disposal, putting them on track to become the first female deminers in the country. The initiative was led by the Danish Demining Group and funded by the United Nations Mine Action Services (UNMAS).
